We present main points of some of Fock papers in Quantum Theory, which were not properly followed when published. Introduction Fock papers on Quantum Theory have quite different lifes in Physics. Some of them were immediately recognized with Fock name attached to them. Hartree-Fock approach, Fock space and Fock representation are very well known examples. Another ones were not properly used when published. To this class belong papers where Fock was ahead of time, and his comptemporaries were not able to really understand their importance. Klein-Fock equation, proper-time formalism and symmetry of Hydrogen atom are best examples of Fock papers within such a class. In this lecture we explain main points of these Fock papers and remind Fock interpretation of energy-time uncertainty relation, as well as his ideas on generalization of the concept of physical space published in his last paper. ∗To be published in the Proceedings of the UNESCO International School of Physics ”Quantum Theory ’ part 2, commemorating the 100th anniversary of the birth of V.A.Fock. ar X iv : h ep - t h / 92 11 12 4 v 1 2 6 N ov 1 99 2 Chiral Symmetry Breaking with the Curtis - Pennington Vertex

We study chiral symmetry breaking in quenched QED 4 , using a vertex Ansatz recently proposed by Curtis and Pennington. Bifurcation analysis is employed to establish the existence of a critical coupling and to estimate its value. The main results are in qualitative agreement with the ladder approximation, the numerical changes being minor.

Based on the Weinberg lagrangian or, in a new language, the lagrangian of hidden local symmetry added with the term induced by the anomalous lagrangian of Wess and Zumino, the dynamics of the decays ρ → 4π and ω → 5π is considered. The excitation curves of ρ resonance in its decay to 4π are obtained for the first time. The comparison with recent CMD-2 data is given.
